This is not your typical waxed jacket. It's not stiff or crinkly and it never needs to be rewaxed continually like others. The wax-infused cotton/nylon fabric isn't sticky or oily to the touch - it's a dry wax that never needs reapplication. Only you'll know the wax is there because of the wrinkles the fabric will hold and the hi-low that will develop over time. Our recommendation, treat it like rigid denim...never wash it or if you must, only inside-out and as lightly as possible. This is the type of jacket that only gathers more soul as time goes on.
