The lightest pant Relwen makes, and not possible without a 28% nylon blend. Tensile strength is what they measure and typically this metric declines as fabric weights become thinner + lighter. Not true here, as the otherwise cotton pant (72%) is reinforced by the nylon fiber which only becomes stronger when wet. Not that we’re advocating fly-fishing in these but go for it! Our latest roll-up is derivative of Vietnam issue field pants featuring all the rugged and ergonomic features associated with the originals…down to the crotch loops that served as tourniquet loops for field dressing, or snake bite.
